9 ways to be a better person

Everyone wants to become a better person, but some people do not know how.

At the end of each day, I want to think and see what I can do to be a better person. Not only that, but I have a goal to make a mark in the world to do great things. To book time every day to think about what behaviors were good and bad, I have the opportunity to grow.

Growing up, he was not the best guy. I mocked others, he was selfish, and I thought the world revolved around me. Transfer a few years and have grown tremendously. I am not the child was embarrassing because I grew up and learned what it means to be a better person.

After learning what it means to be a better person, I am able to grow into someone I do not mind being. I am much happier with who I am and would have no problem telling my future children the kind of person I am.

Here are 9 ways to become a better person through the auto:

1. Be prepared to change
In order to become a better person, you must be willing to change. Change is the only way to grow and progress towards the person you want to become. Many people are against change, which can make it very difficult to grow. When you keep an open mind and is willing to change, you are able to grow into the person you want to become.

2. Stop making excuses
When I started my high school activity, I apologized every time something went wrong. I blame others, blame the client or any other person involved. However, I do not blame myself for things that went wrong.

Instead, I learned to take responsibility for their own mistakes is extremely important. I stopped making excuses, I took the blame when it was really my fault, and was able to achieve much more. By understanding that I made a mistake, I could use my mistakes to learn, which in turn helped me become a better person.

3. Stop being angry
Many people allow anger and rage alter their decision-making skills. I used to be an angry person growing up, but seeing the damage relationships with people and increasing my blood pressure.

The control of anger is extremely difficult to master a skill, but it is very beneficial. Instead of getting angry, I decided to find a way to change my negative emotion. Staying angry does not allow me or solve a problem, just create several of them. Find a way to relax your nerves when you are angry, a stress ball has been very helpful to me.

4. Be a model
Sometimes you need to be a role model for someone to actually act. Once I became an entrepreneur and people started looking at me, I became much more cautious about how I behaved. I did not want to disappoint people by showing them that was immature or a bad model.

You can start small and be a “big brother” to someone, train a team of children, or be a role model for their children. No matter what you choose to do, always make decisions that the person facing you respect.

5. Forgiving someone
Forgive someone who hurts you is very difficult to do. When I bothered someone to do something, I could never forgive them. Even though it was an average thing, I kept against them for the rest of their lives that was not healthy.

I learned quickly that humans are prone to make mistakes. Instead of having a mistake against them throughout life, try to forgive someone. To become a better person, going through your past and forgiving someone who has done something to hurt you.

6. Listening to people
People are busy with their careers, their families and their lives. Everyone is in trouble, but people rarely have time to listen to what others have to say. I’ve learned to listen to people and give everyone a voice is one of the best things you can do.

I have met some of the most extraordinary people that I closed some of the most important transactions and developed connections that will last me a lifetime because I took the time to listen to people. Being a good listener can change your life in a positive way.

7. Be honest
Honest people are hard to find today. However, honesty is the best remedy for any situation. Promise yourself that you will not be telling lies for a month right.

Take up the challenge of being honest in developing good habits. If you are a compulsive liar, start small trying to be honest for 1 day. After reaching a lower goal, increase the finish line by 2 or 3.

8. Is this something you do not want
Keep an open mind and try things that you normally are a very easy way to become a better person. Take a chance and challenge yourself to try something that has always been afraid to do so.

Growing up, I’m terrified at the idea of ??a roller coaster. However, I finally gave myself to adolescence and had the time of my life. I would never have known him roller coaster, unless he’d been willing to overcome my fear and give it a try. This experience has led me to try new things.

9. Surprise someone special
Do you have a loved one in your life? If your spouse / romantic partner, children, or family member, plan a surprise for them. If you know someone who deserves a great holiday or a new gift, go and buy it for them.

One of the most rewarding feelings in the world is knowing that you made someone smile. Surprise someone special in your life to do something unusual for them!
