How to share your games with friends and family
The PC gaming distribution platform Valve Steam has been in the news recently for many reasons, such as authorizing (and deleting) Skyrim mods paid, or adding a number of features like a counter framing rate in the game . One of the many useful features of steam is sharing the family. As the name suggests, with this feature, you can share your Steam games library with family and friends.
To do this, you must have access to the computer you are playing to your friends and / or family, and must share steam credentials (username and password) on your machine. From there, it is a relatively simple process.
1. Enable Steam Guard
On your computer, go to the Steam configuration menu. Click Account. Select Manage My Account with Steam Guard Security.
2. TO authorize the second computer
In your friend’s PC (or a family member), log in with your Steam account. Go to the settings, click on the family. Select Allow this computer.
3. Start sharing
On the same PC, after you authorize it, log out of your Steam account. Let your friend / family member come now in their own. Now you can download and install the games from your Steam library.
