Make Fancy, Crystal Clear Ice Cubes With Boiled Water
There’s nothing wrong with cloudy ice cubes. But if you prefer clear ice cubes, you can easily do it with boiled water.
In About.com, Anne Helmenstine Chemistry explains that transparent ice is formed from pure water containing no dissolved gas. Luminous cubes are usually made using water that has been purified by reverse osmosis or distillation. But you can also do it from tap water. You just need to boil.
Helmenstine recommended to boil tap water twice. Then let cool a bit of safety, and pour into the ice cube tray and freeze. It is quite simple, but if you need more information, go to the link below.
